Your customers have to meet the following requirements via the app:
Via the POSTIDENT app:
- A smartphone with NFC (Near Field Communication) activated
- German ID card or German electronic residence permit (issued after March 1, 2013), electronic residence permit or eID card for citizens of the EU and EEA with the eID function activated
- 6-digit PIN for the eID function. Alternatively, the 5-digit transport PIN can be used in the identification process to set the 6-digit PIN.
- Stable Internet connection
