The EU Directive “Empowering Consumers for the Green Transition” and its planned implementation into German law (UWG) will change the possibilities for all market participants to communicate CO₂e compensation in their advertising. For companies in Germany, the relevant provisions of the UWG are expected to become binding on September 27, 2026.

Against this background, we are currently not providing our customers with product logos for the GoGreen service. If you are already using the GoGreen product logo, please plan for the legal changes in good time, especially when stocking up on envelopes.
