  • Comprehensive Investments in Sustainability

    The sustainability program of Deutsche Post DHL includes investments in electric mobility, sustainable infrastructure, and the construction and operation of buildings.

  • Largest Electric Commercial Vehicle Fleet Worldwide

    With 32,000 electric vans, 17,000 e-trikes and e-bikes, and over 33,000 charging stations, we operate the largest electric commercial vehicle fleet in the world and deliver CO2-reduced in about 50% of our districts.

  • Rail Transport and Gas-Powered Trucks

    We utilize a rail transport network across Germany, capable of transporting 100,000 parcels per train, and operate approximately 360 (bio-)gas-powered trucks on the road.

  • Offsetting and Reducing Emissions

    Since 2007, our GoGreen service has enabled CO2-compensated shipping. With GoGreen Plus, we offer customers the opportunity to actively reduce shipping emissions.

WHAT DOES SUSTAINABILITY ACTUALLY MEAN?

  • GoGreen

    With GoGreen, shipping emissions are compensated retroactively by investing in global climate protection projects (offsetting). This process is automatically applied to all letter shipments and private customer parcels worldwide – at no extra charge. Businesses can book the service for their parcels and advertising mail.

  • GoGreen Plus

    With GoGreen Plus, we go even further: through additional measures in our German logistics network, we reduce emissions (insetting). This service is already utilized by many private customers for their parcel reception and by companies that want to take the next step towards sustainability with us and find offsetting insufficient.
