Ihre Sendung ist da (your item has arrived), standard notification for letters and parcels
Recipients of letters and parcels whom deliverers are unable to reach receive a notification card. All previous Deutsche Post DHL notification cards are now gradually being replaced by the end of April 2010 by two new, standard versions.

Example

Basic card:
Provides information regarding all normal items (e.g., small packages and DHL parcels).
Basiskarte
Special card:
Provides information regarding other products and services (e.g., age and identity checks).
Spezialkarte

There will also be a change in the way customers request a second delivery attempt of parcels and small packages. Such requests can no longer be submitted using a card but now have to be made by telephone via the DHL hotline (+49 (0)1805 3452255*).

* EUR 0.14 per minute, or part thereof, from a German landline. A maximum of EUR 0.42 per minute, or part thereof, from a German mobile telephone.
