Post office box - the address for early mail

Items sent to the post office box address are already there early for you to pick up.

With a post office box, you can decide for yourself when you receive your mail: in the a.m., in the afternoon or in the evening. You can plan the pick-up around your own schedule.

With a post office box you can respond to your customers' wishes more quickly. And you can get checks to the bank and have them credited to your account the day they arrive.

Thanks to the extensive network of Deutsche Post retail outlets it is generally no problem finding a free post office box just around the corner. Simply call the service number 0180 5 5555 (14 ct per minute or part thereof from a German landline; or various mobile telephone tariffs, if applicable; Mondays to Saturdays 07:00 - 20:00), where you can receive advice and can directly arrange for a P. O. box to be set up.

There is no rental charge for a post office box with Deutsche Post. You just pay a one-time sum of EUR 15 (tax included).

Hin+Weg is the pick-up and delivery service from Deutsche Post.
In the morning: HIN. We bring your letters directly to you, for example from your post office box, at a time agreed with you in advance. In the afternoon: WEG. We pick up your items and post them for you with complete reliability.
