Deutsche Post has been working together with merchants, most of them in retail, since 1993. These partner shops offer postal services in addition to their core business. Customers can also get Postbank services at some of these Deutsche Post retail outlets, not including financial advice, a service reserved for the Postbank Finance Centers. While our retail partners benefit from increased customer frequency, our customers enjoy the customer orientation and longer opening hours customary to local retail stores as well as the unique opportunity of shopping for other kinds of products and services simultaneously. The Deutsche Post retail outlets operated by our partners offer a variety of service ranges depending on location and demand.

How to become a partner

Postbank's branches not only offer all the usual Postbank services, they also provide customers with comprehensive advising regarding personal bank accounts, retirement planning and other investment products, insurance and mortgage lending. While there, customers can also take advantage of the complete range of Deutsche Post mail and parcel products and services, no matter what kind of service a customer is looking for: registered items, CODs, redirection and storage service, international shipments sent around the world, mail pick-ups, postage and parcel stamps (Paketmarke), Plusbrief, Pluskarte and Pluspäckchen items, or Packsets.

With the business mail acceptance points, Deutsche Post offers a special acceptance location for small and medium-sized business customers. The business mail acceptance points make it possible to post traditional mail items, Infopost and Infobrief products as well as unaddressed items quickly and easily. Registered item sets, franking service orders, sender-franked items and COD letter items are also accepted. Franked and unfranked parcels and small packets can also be posted, as well as return parcels. The acceptance processing here has been consciously designed to be simple and the relevant locations have been selected in order to be able to offer the best possible parking and unloading situation. The locations also sell mail and parcel stamps.

Deutsche Post business customers with high item volumes have the option of posting their items separately in line with their needs at appropriate locations.

The possibility of selling letter and parcel stamps in the "store around the corner" is an additional option offered by Deutsche Post. Stamp sets for letter mail and postcards, including labels for Päckchen, Paketmarken and registered items are available here. The amount of postage a mail item may require, however, cannot be determined, nor may you post items at this location.

How to become a partner

The mobile postal service provides mobile services in rural areas, offering you an alternative and saving you the trouble of having to make your way to the nearest retail outlet. You can buy your stamps and phone cards from mail carriers who provide additional services and can give them any parcels you wish to dispatch.

Post 24/7 is a service station that combines various Deutsche Post DHL services at one location. These include a mailbox, stamp dispenser, PACKSTATION or PAKETBOX, with some locations having an ATM and printers for account statements. Post 24/7 service stations are already available in Berlin and Bonn.
